Mennonite Home Communities offer Spiritual CareAt MHCO, we are committed to caring for the whole person. This includes supporting the spiritual values and faith traditions of the elders living with us. Weekly worship opportunities and Bible studies are provided at all our communities by local pastors and lay leaders. Click here to view our communities' activities calendars to learn more about scheduled services and Bible studies at Mennonite Memorial Home, Maple Crest and Hilty Home.  Chaplains are also on staff to meet individually with elders as requested.

The Service Group, established in 1954, is the longest-running volunteer organization of the MHCO, Bluffton communities. Made up of representatives from eight local churches, these faithful volunteers make elders' lives brighter by decorating for holidays, planting flowers, baking tasty desserts, and assisting with many activities. They also raise funds to support projects through bake sales and meals. Service Group member churches include Ebenezer Mennonite, Emmanuel United Church of Christ, English Lutheran, First Mennonite, Grace Mennonite, St. John Mennonite, St. John United Church of Christ and St. Mary's Catholic.

At Hilty Home in Pandora, congregations that regularly lead worship include Faith Baptist, Pandora Missionary, Pleasant View United Methodist, St. Anthony's Catholic, St. John Mennonite, St. John's UCC, St. Mary's Catholic, Tri-County Assembly of God, Union Chapel, Grace Mennonite and Saints Peter and Paul.

We value the relationship we have with area churches.  Learn more about ways to volunteer and support the spiritual lives of our elders.
